Underwater Memorial Reef Burial Service

Poseidon’s Garden uses proven technology to inter a loved ones cremated remains within an environmentally friendly building block for reef creation.

Each reef block is affixed with a plaque that states the loved ones name and time spent on earth. The reef block is then placed into a “community” of other reef blocks which form a scientifically designed structure ideally formed to promote reef growth and a refuge for marine life.

Each community structure is placed in a specially designated area permitted for reef construction located west of beautiful Sanibel Island off the gulf coast of Florida.

For customers that would like to be present at the loved ones community placement, this can be arranged. please see FAQ's for more information.. Strict confidentiality and other procedures must be adhered to by all customers wishing to be present for the protection of the reef, the dignity of the service and the safety of all present.

For customers who cannot be present at the community placement service, a DVD of the placement process and “certificate of placement” will be provided.
